COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE

A Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) allows you to act as pilot-in-command of a single engine aircraft for the purpose of remuneration. The course includes a minimum flying hours and 210 hours of ground theory. We offer these courses either on a full time or part time basis. Our CPL is designed for local and international students of 18 years of age with little or no previous flying experience.

THE CPL HAS FOUR MAIN COMPONENTS:

 

  1. Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL)
  2. Private Pilot Licence Course (PPL)
  3. CPL Flight Training and Hour Building
  4. CPL Theory Examinations

 

The commercial pilot course can take anywhere between 6-18 months to complete depending on your learning rate and frequency of flying.
