Yes they are - very comprehensively. CASA safety regulations require comprehensive third party and Professional Indemnity and Liability insurance in place, as well as Hangar Keepers Liability insurance covering air side operations, air craft and trainee pilots.
Yes, however they must be 15 years of age to fly solo and they should meet all the medical requirements. There is no upper age limit to learning to fly either.

No, all that we ask is that your account remains in sufficient credit with us. Just maintain a pre-agreed upon account balance of $1,500 so that there are no delays to in your flight training.
If you wish to pay upfront appropriate levels of discounts will apply and to qualifying students funding may be available for flight training.

No there is no age limitation when learning to fly. However a realistic age expectation, is from 12 years old (students need to reach the rudder pedals and see over the dash). More Senior students have only the CASA medical examinations to pass in order to be permitted to fly.

We require that all career-path students wear their uniforms whilst at the academy. You are intending to become a Commercial Pilot and should take on such a responsibility as soon as you start!
We try to make every effort to keep you with the same instructor. However, there are occasions when you will fly with senior instructors for periodic stage checks during your progress. We aim to keep you learning with one or two main instructors throughout your training for familiarity, consistency and confidence.
